I have a Compaq Presario CQ57 laptop. I am able to start it and get to my home screen, but everything immediately slows down and hangs. I've tried control + alt + delete and I get a message that it can't open, I've tried to install Malwarebytes but it just sits on the installing screen but never downloads. I have also noticed I'm missing icons from my bottom right toolbar by the clock, like my internet connection icon, but I know I'm connected because I can double click mozilla, wait twenty minutes for it open, and then browse very slowly. Suggestions?

Run SeaTools for DOS, LONG test (HDD diagnostics) - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/4072-hard-drive-hdd-diagnostics.html
