Hello, just another tech-illiterate newbie here.

I have an old Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (250 GB capacity) that I haven't touched in awhile, and I plugged it into my computer to transfer a few files from my current (failing) hard drive just for temporary storage, but when I turned the computer on, the drive started making some strange sounds, and the computer wasn't able to read it. I'll add a link to the recording to the bottom of this post, since I can't attach the file here.

If you need any details over my computer's hard/soft/firmware, I could put a list here.

(And sorry about the file being in .m4a format, it didn't survive a .mp3 conversion and was recorded on my iPhone. Hopefully it'll work fine)
