I have a T5500 with 2x 2.4 GHz quad core Xeons, 12 GB RAM, AMD FirePro V5900 graphics and 875 W psu. It has an available 16x PCIe V2 slot. Can I run two different video cards, different make and/or model, at the same time? I want to be able to work with the existing graphics card, and game with he other. Thanks for ant advice in advance!

Yes, you can have two different cards.  What you can NOT do with two different types of card is run them in SLI.  Each will have to have its own monitor.

Thanks Ram4x4! That's the plan, no sli or crossfire and each with it's own monitor. Thanks!
