Quietman7 and RickCP have suggested I join this forum and post my issue here. I have an XP professional workstation that has most of my file extensions changed to ECC. This was done late February last year. I have shutdown the computer and have not used since. I have a great deal of history and important files that I would like to recover. I understand this site has a solution and can walk me through the process. I am not a computer expert but I am not a novice either. I am somewhat gun shy at this moment as it is hard to know who to trust anymore.

I appreciate any and all help you might be able to assist me with.

Bruce

Hi Bruce and welcome from Microsoft Community to BleepingComputer.

Support for decryption requests can be posted in this topic:Just click on the click above and repost your request in that topic. Doing that will also ensure you receive proper assistance from our crypto malware experts since they may not see this thread. If I move your posting into that topic for you, it will disappear and you might think it was deleted.
