Hello. I've had this basic Brother Printer for a year or so. It worked great but lately when I print to it, it just sits there. It's message screen says receiving data. Then after about 5 or 6 minutes I receive the first page of the document. Sometimes it accurate sometimes it's screwy. It never makes it to the rest of the document.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks.

Sounds like a driver issue.  Try uninstalling the drivers, and reinstall the software/drivers again.

Are you connecting to it wirelessly, or via USB?

1. Ensure printer is powered off

2. Go into programs and files (in control panel).  Uninstall any software related to the printer (many printers come with all kinds of printing software).

3. Click the Start menu and in the search field type "print management."

4. On the left side of the Print Management window, select the "All Printers" folder.

5.  If present, right-click the unwanted printer and choose "Delete."

6. Reboot PC and then follow the install instructions that came with the printer.
