Hi there!

So I recently tried to delete a folder of mine and while all other items in the folder were deleted successfully, there is one that refuses to be deleted.

I have tried looking for fixes online and the one I find most often is the one using the command prompt and the whole "cd \" thing. But whenever I try to put in the folder name or file location, I get a message that says "The system cannot find the path specified."

I don't know what I'm doing wrong and none of the examples I've found seem to work for me. Please help!

Thank you!

Arlothia

Have you already tried the folder deletion in Safe Mode?

No I haven't. I'll try that and post the results.

Thanks for the advise! *crosses fingers*

Unfortunately that didn't work.

I'm pretty sure the CMD would work for me, but whenever I try to plug in the location of the file I want to delete it can't find it and I just don't know what I'm doing wrong or the correct way to to enter the location. I'm not that familiar with CMD...

But thank you so much for your suggestion!

I am not sure this will work in your case but try File Assassin.

Emco Move [or Delete] on Boot may also be an option.
