I have a Cannon iP4850 printer and is ha always worked fine in the past but lately it seems to have a problem when printing in grey-scale, the top half of the page is fine but the bottom is very faint, the text is visible but unreadable.

I have tried all the suggestions suggested in the manual.

Any thought of how to solve this problem.

If you have deleted and reinstalled the drivers, changed both black cartridges and removed & cleaned the print head, the printer itself has failed.
