Not really tech savy.  I built my own computer with a lot of help.  Couldn't even tell you the specs at the moment.

Ok I was playing a game that I normally played while was watching a live stream on another monitor and then it crashed.  It had crashed before but always restarted and I went along my way.  This time whenever I turn it on it's so slow I can't do anything.  Did a malware/virus search (took days to complete), defraged my hard drive (more days), cleared cookies/history and still nothing.  I have a version of Windows 7 and I'm hoping that is the reason it's not working right and nothing to do with my hardware.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks again!

Did you reboot several times?

Have you tried Startup Repair and/or a System Restore point?

What do you mean that you have a "version of Windows 7"?
