Hi there,

I have just been informed by my ISP that my network is infected with gozi trojan. We have 4 computers that use our modem regularly. Three of them are on Windows 7, and one of them is a new Macbook Pro (not sure of the OS). I am hesitant of posting my FRST log here because I have read on Wikipedia that I am dealing with a "Man-in-the-browser".

I've run Malewarebytes on two of the computers. One of them came up with a bunch of PUPs (mainly related to a Taplika search bar), and 3 malwares called Adware.1ClickDownloader. I removed them.

The other one was more concerning: it found around 9 files from Ransom.FileCryptor, with names like AltTwcfg.exe. Haven't clicked to remove them yet, not sure if I should or if I even can.

Any help?

Hello, Welcome to BleepingComputer.
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.
===

We only help in one computer cleaning at a time in a topic.

Lets concentrate on the one with the Ransom.FileCryptor, for now.

Run the Farbar tool on the computer and post the FRST.txt and the Addition.txt files for my review.

===

If you wish to have someone check the other computers with windows 7, start a new topic for each of them.

I couldn't help myself. I clicked to remove those files via Malwarebytes. I scanned again with Malwarebytes and they don't show up anymore. In fact, Malewarebytes doesn't report any problems of suspicious files anymore.

Attached are the FRST and Addition files from the computer that had the Ransom.FileCryptor detections.
