''C:\WINDOWS\system32\uxtheme.dll is either no designes to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system adminstrator or the software vendor for the support. Error status 0xc0000006''

 

I cant run any excecutable because of this thing.

 

This popup wont go off, i have starting getting adverts.

  • Boot your computer into Safe Mode with Networking
  • Download Farbar Recover Scan Tool for either 32 bit or 64 bit systems and save it to your desktop <<< Important
  • If you are unsure if you have 32 bit or 64 bit simply download and try one. If that doesn't run properly the other one should
  • Double click the icon
  • Click Yes to the disclaimer
  • Make sure the Addition.txt box is checked
  • Click Scan and allow the program to run
  • Click OK on the Scan complete screen, then OK on the Addition.txt pop up screen
  • 2 Notepad documents should now be open on your desktop.
  • Please copy and paste the contents of both in your reply

Please delete FRST.exe, download a fresh copy and attempt the scan again.

Run FRST again. If you get the error again right click on the FRST icon in the taskbar and uncheck the box named Script paused. See if it runs. If it does not, run Zoek below. Either way I would like you run GSmart.

GSmartControl for Windows

  • Download GSmartControl for Windows and save it to your desktop
  • Unzip the folder to your desktop
  • Double click gsmartcontrol.exe
  • Allow the program to search for and list your hard drive(s)
  • Double click your drive
  • Go to the PERFORM TESTS tab
  • Make sure that the TEST TYPE is set to SHORT SELF-TEST
  • Click the EXECUTE button
  • After the test completes, click the VIEW OUTPUT button and copy and paste the contents in your reply

Zoek by Smeenk

--------------------
  • Download Zoek and save it to your Desktop
  • Right click the icon, select Run as Admistrator, and wait for the Program to appear on your Desktop (may take 15 seconds or so)
  • Verify Scan All Users is selected then click Run Script
  • Type 3 in the lower box to Perform only a Deep Scan then click OK
  • Wait patiently for the program to run
  • Do not use your computer while the scan is running
  • When completed a zoek-results.txt report will appear on your desktop. Copy and paste the contents in your reply

GSmartControl, i tried perform test thing, it stopped to 10%. And i cant open this Zoek

Did you try to run the FRST fix again as instructed?

Seagate Seatools for DOS

----------
  • Please download SeaTools for DOS and create a bootable CD as instructed here and save it to your desktop
  • NOTE: If you have any difficulty booting up with this version, please use one of the legacy versions of SeaTools for DOS
  • If you do not have ISO burning software on your computer download and install Active@ ISO Burner then create a bootable disk with the downloaded file
  • Boot your computer using the CD you just created. If necessary see here for instructions about how to boot to CD
  • After the program loads click I Accept
  • Left Click on your hard drive listed under Drive List (if you have a Seagate hard drive take special note of the caution below)
  • Click Basic Tests, then select Long Test
  • Allow the process to run, which may take up to 3 hours, and report the findings in your reply
  • If the results indicate your hard drive failed the test and you have a Seagate hard drive installed DO NOT follow up on the suggestion to allow the program to attempt to resolve the issue. Doing so may cause permanent loss of data

You didn't say whether or not you tried to uncheck the box.

If you did try that please complete the Zoek steps as requested in Post #8.

Finally, please attempt to run this.

  • Double click DiskInfo.exe
  • On the CrystalDiskInfo screen click Edit, then Copy
  • Paste the information in your reply
