I need to get a new laptop.  Budget is from 800 to 1200 dollars.

I will be using it primarily to follow stocks which means running streaming charts in real time.  That takes a considerable bandwidth and I would like to be able to set the charts data as priority.

Battery life is very important as I use it a lot in wifi spots.

I would like 1 tb hard drive, dvdrw and 12gb to 16gb ram.  I'm on my second Dell but have been disappointed with quality. as my first one had issues with sticking keys and the second one had a terrible touch pad to the point I returned it.
