My husband's desktop had an issue when he was updating a couple programs (Python and Java). When he restarted the computer, it wouldn't continue to Windows and instead took him to the Automatic Repair. I have all other drives unplugged and am attempting to fix the issue. At this point, I've exhausted all the options on Automatic Repair, but Windows will still not come up. Help?

What version of Windows 8 is installed on this computer.

If this computer is OEM please post the make and model of it.

If this is a custom build, do you have the installation disc for the version of Windows 8 that you have?

Does your husband have all of his important data bucked up on removable media?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
