Hi, after downloading the latest version (5031), I receive and error message:

"AdwCleaner.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." CLOSE or DEBUG options.

I tried reinstalling, but keep getting the same message. I've ran Malwarebytes and RogueKiller but they didn't turn up anything.

Thanks.

Jim.

If you are getting the choice to CLOSE or DEBUG, choose Debug and let it create a logfile report. That report called AdwCleaner_dbg_XXXX.log (where XXXX represents the time run) will be created and saved to %systemdrive%\AdwCleaner folder (usually C:\AdwCleaner).

Copy and paste the contents of AdwCleaner_dbg_XXXX.log in your next reply.

I tried several times to debug, but did not see a log report in the folder C:\AdwCleaner

There were about a dozen text files, a Settings file and a Quarantine folder.

Hello,

This bug has been fixed in v5.032. You should try downloading the latest version and tell me if that works properly.

Regards.
