Long time lurker, first time poster I guess. I typically reserve my visits to the site (and by extension the forums) whenever there is a really weird issue I can't seem to figure out, but as of late I find myself frequenting the site more often.

I'm slightly experienced when it comes to computers, but I'm trying to focus up and learn as much as I can and to hopefully turn this hobby into a career (fixing peoples computers for free just isn't cutting it anymore).

By day I work a boring 9-5, but as I said I am wanting to transition into a more IT focused career, and I enjoy learning new things and I've always found that you can learn a TON by listening to other people who are more experienced than you. Or maybe that is a terrible way to learn, I have no idea, it just works for me.

So needless ramblings aside, I'm glad to be here and looking forward to learning.

P.S. The name is pronounced "H", it's a shameless rip from Ready Player One, but the character shares the same last name as I, so I found it kind of fitting I guess... In case you wanted to know.

P.P.S. I don't really have a fedora, I thought it would be funny if I said it... Sorry if you own a fedora, maybe that joke is lame.
