Hi,

This is my first time posting in this forum. This problem has been bugging me for a few months, but recently only I have time to sit down and try to solve this problem.

Some of my keys in my keyboard(1,3,5,a,e,z, shift key) do not work. I m now using an external keyboard and it's working perfectly fine. I have tried to go to device manager, installed and uninstalled the HID Keyboard device but still it wouldnt solve my problem

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

By the way, forgot to mention this, this happened after I installed window 10. Seems like this also happens to a lot of window 10 users. Any similar situations here?

Have you updated the keyboard and chipset drivers to the latest W10 compatible version at the Asus support website?

If not, then it could be a compatibility issue.

I'd suggest a new keyboard at this point.

They're relatively inexpensive and (depending on the model) they may be fairly easy to replace.

They're about $25 (US) on Amazon and NewEgg

See the videos here on how to replace it:  https://www.google.com/search?q=Vivobook+S300Ca&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=asus%20vivobook%20s300ca%20keyboard
