On the taskbar there is an icon that is a no entry sign and switches to a ?. Also my homepage have been changed to about:blank. And everyonce and a while a pop-up in the bottom right hand corner comes up saying "my computer is infected!...."

I have tried using norton and spybot s&d to get rid of it but it doesn't work. I also have hijackthis but i have no clue what to delete.

Can someone help me?

Hi Samson1121, Try the two programs above. You may also want to submit a Hijack This scan. In the header above click on "Start Here" for instructions on how to submit a log.

Hello samson1121

Seems you posted your log in the wrong forum.

Please repost it in the HijackThis Logs and Analysis Forum, not here, for assistance by the HJT Team Experts.

Start a new topic, give it a relevant title and post the log along with a brief description of your problem, a summary of any anti-malware tools you have used and a summary of any steps that you have performed on your own.

Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have no replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you or others post another response, a team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond. This thread already has multiple replies and I want to make sure you receive assistance in a timely manner.
