I tried to uninstall my Virus/Firewall software called PCGuard (Actually Freedom Firewall). I didn't realize that the uninstall hadn't worked and I installed McAfee. The McAfee didn't install properly and then started to give me blue screen problems. I took off one of the apps (The Privacy Module) and the blue screen problems have stopped. I went through various parts of the system deleting references to PCGuard and files, but I have a really wierd thing which is driving me nuts. I was trying to delete an Install SCript in the PCGuard directory and as soon as you try a windows install starts for PCGuard. You can delete the folder and it's contents but it seems to re-create itself during this install process. There must be a program kicking this install off but for the life of me I can't find it. Until I fix this, I really can't get McAfee running properly at all.
