VLC Media Player

My VLC Media Player crashes all of sudden and as a result of this some of my videos are not playing in proper way. I am facing some issues that cannot be resolved like, audio video sync, video getting stuck and so on. Is there any way in which this can be fixed.?

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstall ?
