Uninstalled DNS KeeperHelper, Reset DNS "what"

My computer runs vista. it downloads programs without me knowing even though I use it in safe mode, one of the latest was DNS KeeperHelper I uninstalled it from programs and it said uninstall successful but that I have to reset my DNS manually for uninstall to be complete, besides the contradiction i have no idea how to do that and the website it sent me to just wanted me to download more programs

You can reset your DNS by following the instructions at this link (scroll down to where it says Step 2):
