With rufus in Windows I was successful in installing Tails on a usb. However I am having no luck with doing the same from inside Mint. I tried both unebootin and multiboot.

With the former it gets stuck at 97%. With multiboot it installs fully but nothing happens when I get to click tails at the boot menu, I have to pick hard disk for anything to load.

Any ideas or suggestions? What's the best linux alernative to rufus?

The iso is good, its the same one I used before.
