Can you network a MacBook Air to a Sony VAIO (for a dual monitor setup)?

I have MacBook Air for work. To work from home, I'll need a second monitor. All of the programs and applications I need are on the MacBook, I'd just need the screen real estate on the VAIO. Is that even a possibility? If so, which method would you recommend?

Here are the specs for each laptop:

Sony VAIO
Windows 7 Home Premium
Service Pack 1
Intel Core i7 CPU 64-bit
GeForce GT 330M
MacBook Air (Early 2015)
OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5
2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
Thanks in advance.

It is unclear if you are asking if you can use the vaio as a monitor for the mac or you are asking about remote access from the vaio at home to the mac at work.

Using the vaio as a monitor isn't possible.
