...I have all my files decrypted in .yvrqgrk...

KeyBTC appends a .keybtc@inbox_com extension to the end of each file name, not a .yvrqgrk. However,CTB Locker
(aka Critroni) will have a 6-7 length extension consisting of random characters such as these .uogltic, .rtrsxox, .phszfud, etc.

Did you find any ransom note? These infections are created to alert victims that their data has been encrypted and demand a ransom payment. Check your documents folder for an image the malware typically uses for the background note. Check the C:\ProgramData (or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data) for a randomly named .html, .txt, .png, .bmp, .url file.

These are some examples:
HELP_DECRYPT.TXT, HELP_YOUR_FILES.TXT, HELP_TO_DECRYPT_YOUR_FILES.txt, RECOVERY_KEY.txt
HELP_RESTORE_FILES.txt, HELP_RECOVER_FILES.txt, HELP_TO_SAVE_FILES.txt, DecryptAllFiles.txt
DECRYPT_INSTRUCTIONS.TXT, INSTRUCCIONES_DESCIFRADO.TXT, How_To_Recover_Files.txt
YOUR_FILES.HTML, YOUR_FILES.url, encryptor_raas_readme_liesmich.txt, Help_Decrypt.txt
DECRYPT_INSTRUCTION.TXT, HOW_TO_DECRYPT_FILES.TXT, ReadDecryptFilesHere.txt,
_secret_code.txt, About_Files.txt, Read.txt, ReadMe.txt, DECRYPT_ReadMe.TXT
FILESAREGONE.TXT, IAMREADYTOPAY.TXT, HELLOTHERE.TXT, READTHISNOW!!!.TXT, SECRETIDHERE.KEY
IHAVEYOURSECRET.KEY, SECRET.KEY, HELP_DECYPRT_YOUR_FILES.HTML, help_decrypt_your_files.html
HELP_TO_SAVE_FILES.txt, RECOVERY_FILES.txt, RECOVERY_FILE.TXT, RECOVERY_FILE_[random].txt
Howto_RESTORE_FILES_.txt, Howto_Restore_FILES.txt, howto_recover_file_.txt, restore_files_.txt,
how_recover+[random].txt, _how_recover_.txt, recover_file_[random].txt, DecryptAllFiles_.txt

Note: The [random] represents random characters which some ransom notes names may include.

My mistake, I thought I saw a topic on this mentioning it also had random extensions in a post.

No problem Demonslay335.

On the first page I commented that KeyBTC leaves files (ransom notes) with names like...random numbers_readme so you may have been thinking I said random extensions without rereading that posting.

Or you could have read that in another topic and thought you read it in this one. With all these variants we are dealing with, the information can sometimes be confusing for all of us.

Note: The [random] represents random characters which some ransom notes names may include.

I have a file .txt:

34P2F4T-NDQFD3G-YAL4EYW-AMUBLJQ-BLQBGJR-DADEPTO-PUMBOGQ-H7QVIWC

CJCN35M-I5S2YU4-XM5YNE5-HGTZGD2-ILJKROO-XR5LRSC-3MWEKME-VCKZQT5

Segui le istruzioni sul server.

The developers of CTB Locker provide instructions to download and use a TOR web site, then open an onion related url address such as...hxxp://zaxseiufetlkwpeu.onion/, hxxp://43qzvceo6ondd6wt.onion/...see here.

You may be dealing with a new variant since the ransom note is named differently... file.txt

Since this infection is unrelated to KeyBTC, i am splitting it away to a separate topic.

A repository of all current knowledge regarding CTB Locker (Critroni, Onion) is provided by Grinler (aka Lawrence Abrams), in this topic: CTB Locker and Critroni Ransomware Information Guide and FAQ

Unfortunately at this time there is no way to retrieve the private key that can be used to decrypt your files without paying the ransom...see here. The only methods you have of restoring your files is from backup, file recovery tools, or from Shadow Volume Copies as explained in How to restore files encrypted by CTB Locker.

There is an ongoing discussion in this topic where you can ask questions and seek further assistance:Rather than have everyone start individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any questions, comments or requests for assistance in that support topic discussion. Doing that will also ensure you receive proper assistance from our crypto malware experts since they may not see this thread. To avoid unnecessary confusion...this topic is closed.

Thanks
