My drive will not pick up my disk, just a constant blinking light.

Just one specific disc, or can you play other discs?

Is this a disc you made?

If it is, is this media you have used previously?

If you look in the Device Manager are you seeing any yellow warning icons or red error icons?

It's all disk, no yellow or red icon, it tries to pick up but it won't.

Try this Microsoft Support Fix it.

Scroll down to the Fix it for Windows 7.

If the fix doesn't work you may have to get another cd-rom. How old is your computer?
