docking station recommendation

ok so i am looking for a docking station that can support boot when computer is booting also i am looking to install linux in there.

 

so far i like this Docking Station but I am not sure if this would be the right one for what I am looking to do.

well i am going to use a 2.5 Seagate 320GB HDD. this was from an old laptop that i accidentally messed up.

i am taking a class where i need to use linux and i dont want to partition the main HDD from my laptop.
