When I link to a PDF that displays in my Firefox browser, I cannot find the path on my HDD where it has been downloaded. I assume it is in a cache or temporary folder and have also tried the Firefox command  'about:cache'  but I still cannot find the PDF I am browsing. I know I can do a SAVE AS to download the PDF to a directory of my choice, but I'm just curious where it is before I do that.

Thanks in advance to all those who reply.

Dan

When opening a .pdf file in Firefox, you then have the option to save it to your hard drive:

Click on that and select the location you wish to save it in.

Firefox has a limited PDF viewing capability.  However, just because you view a PDF doesn't mean that it is automatically saved to your HDD.  If you want to save a PDF you have to do as Phantom explained.
