Hello All,

I've concluded reading a few articles on bleepingcomputer.com tonight and thought I'd engage the forum to look for some insight to a recent travail I have with my home Desktop.

Don't worry, I believe I'll be  posting the issue in the Networking Category somewhere.

I have a 25 year career as an electronics technician within the military/aerospace/and industrial electronics venues. Army brat as kid, grew up in Europe and various states on the east coast (USA). Joined USAF, radar specialist on F4 Phantom. Many years/jobs later I earned and Associate's degree in Network Administration, and am shy of a Bachelor's degree in Network and Communication's Management by 4 courses. Learned and have certifications for gunsmithing and locksmithing just because.

I'm sorry about not having an avatar yet, been having too many fires lately which leave me without time to create a dynamic avatar (cool/radical dynamic avatar) so I will leave that blank until I get my head out of current events.

I like people, like to learn (about everything), enjoy life,  and welcome dialogue. See you all in the threads...

n.b - I can't stand stewed okra. There, I said it...

Hey Dangereen

I am also new to this forum. I have recently done my graduation and started working with a reputed hardware company.

Since I am new to this field, so am not able to understand some problems.

Hope will able to get answers from you all.

Thanks

Hey Dave, got a kick out of the implicit mystery in your use of the word "reputed". Wondered if you meant to say "reputable", but hey like the Mona Lisa not knowing for sure - all the time - makes life bearable some times; and even fun. I say this because when I use the word "reputed" in that fashion it typically bears negative connotations and infers that I haven't made my mind up whether the organization is user friendly, or not (reputable).

Nevertheless, pardon the digression but I just had to say that because I like dialogue (and rhetoric). I have  many years of experience with electronics hardware technologies going into the last millennium with stuff like carbon microphones, ECL, TTL, CMOS, and not to be forgotten, the COSMAC ELF which I actually built.

Nice to be on board with you.

Hey Dangereen,

I like your dialogue style! I was a radioman in the Navy myself... (and was married/divorced from a Navy ET afterwards). That was several life-times ago, tho. Got my Assoc Degree in Computer Info Systems in 1999 - didn't go to college until my mid-40's... and the dot com bubble pop deep-sixed that career path. But the knowledge still proves useful. Then I got another Assoc Degree during my mid-50's. Now I'm semi-retired & trying to stay more or less current with technology.

Stewed okra can be slimy, admittedly. However, it doesn't have to be if it is prepared properly. Real okra people like it fried but in today's health-conscious world the best way is to roast it. Now that's some fine munchin'.

I'm still struggling with this bleepin' tablet I recently acquired. Things just don't behave civilized. #$(!*^!!@#%&(!)

Glad to see this forum has some recent activity. Hope to have some lively dialogues with all of you!
