I have a small utility called My Cam which I cannot now launch. It shows error notifications saying .dll x, y and z are 'missing from the computer'. Far from this being true they are in the same folder and listed in the same screen as the program's .exe file. As recommended, I have reinstalled the program--- but without solving the problem. What is the explanation and solution for this?

This is pure speculation, but is there an .ini file (probably hidden) associated with the program in its folder?   I have seen some issues arise where the parsing of the folder leading to the DLLs "burps" and that error message comes up.

You were running that program on Windows 10?

Was this the program? It says it works on operating systems up to Windows 7.

Have you tried uninstalling the program with the free version of Revo Uninstaller? It might do a thorougher job at removing all traces of the program, to then favor a clean install.

Revo Uninstaller (there's a portable version near the bottom of the page - no installation required)
