where to put the two rams

My mobo is an asus h97-me and it has four ddr3 slots. For better efficiency where should i put my two 4gb rams?

Put the two sticks of ram in the same coloured slots. Put the first one in the slot closest to the CPU and the other one in the other slot of the same colour. In your Motherboard manual, on page 1-6 under section 1.4.1 Overview you'll see how the slots are numbered. So in your case you would use slot DIMM A-1 and DIMM B-1 to take advantage of the dual channel capability of the mobo.
