Hey guys. Hope someone can help. I used Clonezilla to transfer my internal Dell Latitude 520, 320 gb hdd files, to an external 2tb hdd. After it finished, I swapped hdd's, but it wouldn't boot. I used my Win7 cd, installed Win7 files, and then I could boot. It shows 2tb hdd has 142 gb's on it, but I can't see them, or open them?   Any advice on how to open them, or do I have to wipe new hdd, and start from scratch?

Haven't even thought of that Cap. I'll take it out, try it in my other lap top, and get back with results.

Installed 2tb hdd in my Compaq  laptop, and it wouldn't even start up. So it's back in my Dell 520.

The laptop wouldn't startup? Or the hdd?
You could burn puppy linux to a flash drive and see if the drive is recognized in linux.

The hdd wouldn't start Cap. It started looking for error to repair, but couldn't find any, and gave up. Not really pc literate Cap, so your next suggestion is GREEK to me......sorry.

PS: Where is "manage attachments", in case I have to submit a screenshot. Don't see it?

Sorry for not explaining the next part- don't boot from the external drive. Turn on the laptop then plug in the external drive and see if you can find it in windows explorer.

Re-installed 320gb hdd Cap, and then hooked up 2tb hdd using usb cable, and "STORAGE" shows it's there. Don't know where attach files is on here, or i'd post screen shots?

Tried looking in there Cap, and again just now, but nada. Checked help section also, but no button/icon i can see, to attach pics? Well, i'll have to wipe 142gb's from 2tb hdd, and try again, i guess?
