Please help. Good heavens am I ticked off at my laptop. I have been getting a page fault in non pages area sporadically these past few weeks. I always (and mostly) get the error when using utorrent 3.4.5 but only occasionally when copying large media files. There are a couple of instances of heavy Firefox use causing it. A memtest and hard drive scan came up with nothing. I've reinstalled a clean copy of windows 10 twice and it only improved the frequency of the BSOD the first time. It runs absolutely FINE until it decides to slap me in the face.

I have already ordered new RAM and a hard drive because I know someone who will take the parts if I can't use them, and I can't really afford a new computer right now. The hard drive is an upgrade anyway. I'm not that well versed in technology so this might have a straight forward solution that is escaping me. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version A03) dates from 2012.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

Only 3 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most build 10586 (TH2/1511) systems have more than this.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates.

All of the memory dumps blame bcmwl63a.sys - a driver for your Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter wireless device

Please:

- download a fresh copy of the latest, W10 compatible driver from the Dell website

- uninstall the current driver from Control Panel...Programs and Features

- check in Device Manager to ensure that it's been uninstalled.  If not, then right click on it and select "Uninstall".  If offered, you will also want to delete the driver software.

- then install the freshly downloaded drivers

- monitor for further BSOD's

While you're at the Dell support website, you may want to update the other drivers in your system to W10 compatible versions (depending on what's available).

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
