ESET Forums: Not receiving 'New member' validation email?

Good morning,

 

     My apologies if this is in the wrong sub-forum.

 

Problem description:

 

At approximately 8:35 a.m. (U.S. EST), I registered at the ESET Forums.  They Board there stated I would receive an email within about 10 minutes containing instructions to follow in order to complete my registration.

I did not receive the email.  I went back to the forum about 20 minutes later, logged-in, and clicked on the "Resend validation" button at the top of the page, and logged-out.

 

It's now been > 20 minutes since I clicked the "Resend validation" button, and I still have not received any validation email.  (Checked my spam folder - nothing there either).

 

Question:  Since I am unable to contact a forum Admin there for help, or even make a post to obtain assistance - what can I do?

Sadly, there's nothing we can do here on BleepingComputer to help you get the verification email for your account on ESET Security Forums, since BleepingComputer isn't affiliated with them. I took a quick look around the ESET forums, and indeed there's no "Contact Us" link anywhere or form that you can use to send them an email. In that case, I suggest you to send them an email via the Contact Customer Care form.

Personally, the options I used were "Home User & Small Office Support" -> Other question or feedback (none of the above) -> Feedback/Other -> Fill in the form and send it.

     Much obliged for getting back with me and the info you provided! :thumbup2:

 

There must be some issue on ESET'S end, as I finally got the validation email a few minutes ago (The email shows a time stamp of 9:28 a.m.).  Problem solved!

Phone support is available from 6am–6pm Pacific Time [GMT-8] Monday–Friday.
