Hello,

I have been attempting to resolve this BSOD for a while now, it seems to happen often when I wake my system from hibernation. My system does not always BSOD when waking from hibernation, but when it does bluescreen, trying to restore the session from hibernation is the point at which it does. I have tried using WinDBG and driver verifier but I don't really have much experience with either to understand/decipher what the programs are trying to tell. I have attached the most recent minidump file that occurred from the last hibernation. I appreciate any help I can get

EDIT: forgot a few things, I apologies, first time poster, I see from previous posts that I am supposed to attach some ZIP files, but I'm unsure on what exactly to upload

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis:  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location.
By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.

Beyond this, I have these 4 suggestions:
1.  Get ALL available Windows Updates.  It may take several trips to get them all
2.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for your OS from the manufacturer's website (to include BIOS/UEFI).
3.  Start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
4.  If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

- John  (my website: http://www.carrona.org/ )**If you need a more detailed explanation, please ask for it. I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.

I apologize for reviving an older thread, some life events caused some interruptions and I forgotten that I had posted this a few months ago. If this is the incorrect procedure, then I will repost if needed.

I am attaching the zip file generated my the BSOD inspector and have also gotten all available updates for my system.

Thank you again

Not a problem, let's see what the reports have to say.............

Unfortunately it appears that the system has pirated software.
Please get a legitimate copy installed and we'll be glad to help.

Here's suggestions on how to ensure that your version is legitimate:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/genuine

Please be aware that we may not be able to fix it (as the hacks that were done to activate it will cause the OS to behave differently than we expect it to). If that's the case, our efforts to help may just waste your time. Secondly, the forum rules prohibit assisting with pirated software - so the topic would be closed if that is the case.

As a courtesy, I will offer an analysis of your issues using the reports you provided.
I will not answer any questions about the analysis until the system is made legitimate.
If you do make it legitimate, please submit a new set of reports for us to check.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version 0902) dates from 2014.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

G:, H:, I:, J:, K:, and L: drives appear overfull.  Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance.  Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

You have approximately 20 hard drives.  Consider the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply to see if it's adequate to support that many drives.

If in doubt, disconnect the majority of them and see if that improves your system's performance and/or reduces the errors.

This device has a problem in Device Manager:

Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)    USB\VID_0000&PID_0002\6&3520CC6B&0&5    This device is working properly.

Although it may be working properly, the fact that it's unknown may cause the system to work harder or to spit out errors.

Please identify the device by removing your USB devices and then install the appropriate drivers for it.

Please uninstall AsRock XFastLAN and XFastUSB (if installed).  These are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner (along with EVGA Precision) is known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys).  Please un-install them immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting.  Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

2 of the 3 memory dumps point to hardware problems with a hardware disk.

Please test ALL of the disks with these free diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

FYI - AFAIK, TrueCrypt is no longer supported and may have security vulnerabilities.

See this link:  http://truecrypt.sourceforge.net/
