Hi Guys,

What happened to Cosmos screensaver in Mint Mate 17.3 (64 bit)?  It was in 17.2.  Not a biggie but the screensavers in 17.3 are poor and limited. Just curious why it was apparently dropped.

I think a lot of distros changed over to xscreensaver  if not done away with them completely as apparently modern monitors dont have the same issues as the older ones when left on a static page...

I don't think any of my comps have a screensaver...which is sad as i likes my bouncing cows etc.

You could always see if its in the repos, and re install it ..though you may have to remove the one you have as i dont think they can run side by side ....you also may be able to add the screens you liked from Cosmos to the other package....
