Hello, I put the vendor and dev ID's in PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1691&SUBSYS_043E1028&REV_01

pcidatabase http://pcidatabase.com/vendor_details.php?id=767 but the only 14E4 driver showing on that page is a "wireless" driver, help?

Near the bottom of the pcidatabase page.

0x1691 Chip Number: BCM57788 Chip Description: Broadcom BCM57788 LOM

We discussed the same chipset in this thread. See post #6

Oh, I was searching for the ven ID in the list, that was a mistake I have been making for a while now, I have updated my tutorial for this:

To search for drivers:

1] Get the Hardware Device ID from the DM e.g. PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1691&SUBSYS_043E1028&REV_01

2] Enter 14E4 into the Vendor field on pcidatabase.com and 1691 in the Device field.

3] Go to the Vendor site and look for the Device number [NOT the Vendor number] in the Device ID list

4] 0x1691 Chip Number: BCM57788 Chip Description: Broadcom BCM57788 LOM

5 That gave a chipset of BCM57788. Then do a google search for Dell BCM57788

Thanks a million again!
