Hi. I'm logged on, it's my computer, I'm the administrator, there are no AV running. However I get the system error " Windows Defender is being managed by your system administrator" controlled by group policy.  All I want to do is turn it on. Can any one help?

Local Group Policy shows nothing is configured...??

Are you logged on with administrator authority?  That's what you need.

Make regular full system backups or you'll be sorry sooner or later.
