Hello.

I am writing in regard to problems with my motherboard. The Combo audio jack has stopped working after 8 days of light use on a new motherboard in Asus N550JK laptop. It has happened for the second time in this computer, and the first time, the motherboard was replaced on repair. I was wondering if this is covered by warranty, since this is a problem that has regularly been happening to asus N series laptops. This has happened to 2 Asus n550 laptops, Asus N550JK-CN020H to be exact, since both me and my brother use them, and both of them have had the same problem, using different headphones (sony and apple earpods).

Thank you for your response.

So what is the problem? Do you want to know why?

More like i want to know if this is covered by warranty, since it looks like there is a problem that has been going on with this specific model :)

Should be. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer.

Did you replace this motherboard yourself, or was it done by a recognized repair center?
