Hi guys,

I seem to be encountering a very serious issue today. I am not sure if it's a system error or a virus, but I can't show hidden folders or files anymore on Windows 10.

Every time I open the view ribbon and click on the hidden items check box it reverts back to being unchecked.

I tried to edit the registry by going to KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\

CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHO WALL

and changing checked value to 1 but it doesn't seem to work as well.

I suspect it is a virus but not really sure.

I also have Bitdefender TS 2016 but it's not detecting anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
