My laptop has been running slowly for a while now. Is there anything I can do to help it out?

It's running windows 7.

Any help would be appreciated. I already have one desktop that I think needs a new hard drive. I haven't been able to use it in about 2 years. I'm finally about to be able to take it to have it fixed, I hope.

Thanks in advance.

Renee

It would also help if you post the make and model of this computer.
