I have K9 web filter on my laptop to curb my internet addiction. Now that I am in college, I use the school's wifi and I don't want the university (or anyone else on the network) to see my activities, so I want to use a VPN such as Avast Secureline. But I'm not sure if K9 will work with this. Does anyone have experience using these two specific software (or parental control and VPNs in general)?

How you connect to the internet does not matter to locally installed software.
