Hello,i will start with my config first:
- intel g3420

-asrock b85pro4

-120 gb kingston ssd

-1tb seagate hdd

-12 gb ram

-550w psu

-no gpu,using the intel one.

For a long time,i am experiencing errors in windows,to be more specific when gaming or intense browsing. The error seems quite simple, makes the screen black and recovers with a popup message ' display driver for Windows 8® stopped responding and has recovered' . So , the first thing that came into my mind was to update the drivers, i did but still occurs. I also had a shot with another windows , still no luck ( 7,8,8.1,10 all the same) so i decided to look around on asrock website and try different versions of bios. I found out that the only version that fits is P2.00 but only with windows 7 , other windows i try gets the error followed by bluescreen, so the only stable combo is P2.00+windows 7. The latest bios release which came out today also causes problems so i have to go back at 2.00 . I had my computer in service a few months ago with this problem and they said that nothing is wrong and  its weird..since its not stable.

Any way that i can fix this ? Some settings in bios that may cause it ? the only problem to my error was bios related because i had my computer running windows 8.1 pretty well in the past and after a while it became unstable.

There a dozen different reasons that could cause this.  The biggest is the fine edge that many of the onboard and plug in cards are built to operate at.  When new, things run just fine and all seems good.  As the components age and connections and solder joints heat up, things start to slow down a bit here, a bit there.  One bit on the video card (for example) gets missed and the whole sequence gets halted while it waits for the missing bit resulting in a system message.  This can happen with any peripheral or internal device.  Sometimes by slowing the clock speed a notch can restore stable operation and also give a clue to possible replacement.

Lowering the clock speed did not help with the error so i guess there is other thing causing it.

Looks like you did a clean install...which wipes out any history that may have been useful.

It would help if you post the link requested for the Speccy Snapshot...the directions provided do not request a screenshot of any sort.

Is the system overclocked?  Were you overclocking before your problems began?

Firefox seems to have a max RAM usage that's approximately 3 times what I would expect.

IMVU seems to be a troublesome install for some...I might just uninstall it and see how the system fares without it.

I would also run SeaTools for Windows on the hard drive...it never hurts to check the functional status of the hard drive.

I see no errors indicating a problem with video/graphics drivers.

System is not overcloked and it never been overclocked, stock all time.

Firefox have max usage maybe because i have more tabs open, who knows.

IMVU .. well , with or without system goes the same,i had a clean install only with drivers and error was still present.

I will check SeaTools and see whats going on.

Weird thing that it doesnt let me use other bios version and windows, someone reported that the problem might be in the cpu socket , could it ?

I don't have the knowledge to answer that...but I find that that, when troubleshooting system issues...it's a lot easier to start with simple hypotheses that can be easily confirmed/refuted...before moving on to more complex hypotheses that are more difficult to explore/test.

We live in a world where nearly anything may go wrong, at any time.  But, unless cogent evidence exists to develop a gvien theory...guesswork is the result and the only limit to such are our individual imaginations.

Does ASRock have an in-BIOS utility to flash the BIOS without booting into windows? I have only used Gigabyte boards, which have a utility called 'q-flash' that lets you do this. If you do have such a utility, perhaps try flashing that way?

Yea,it does have a flash method without booting into windows and i always use that method, not windows or uefi autoupdate.

Also made the hard drive scan, the full scan and got the result : " Fix All Long- Pass " so i guess nothing is wrong with the hdd.
