what the heck causes this?

 

i am out of ideas,

 

computer is virus/malware free,

 

i have reset the router/modem to default, other computers connect fine,

 

on this one computer i get "local only" connection, no internet,

 

i have updated the network adapter driver and checked all of the network settings all are fine,

Scan with SystemLook
  • Please download SystemLook (32-bit) by jpshortstuff and save it to your desktop
  • Please download SystemLook (64-bit) by jpshortstuff and save it to your desktop For 64-bit users
  • Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
  • Copy the content of the following code box into the main textfield:
:regfind 
NameServer
  • Click the Look button to start the scan.
  • When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan. Please post this log in your next reply.
Note: The log can also be found on your Desktop entitled SystemLook.txt
