Hi, I have been getting blue screens for weeks now and I am desperate to get back to a normally functioning computer.  Im not sure if you will need the following info but I will give it to you just in case.  The error is CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED and the cause is supposedly from ntoskrnl.exe.  Thank you for your time.

ntoskrnl.exe is the kernel (core) of the Windows operating system.  It is protected by security features and the Windows System File Checker.  As such, if this file was to blame, you'd be experiencing many more problems other than the occasional BSOD.

In most cases this file is blamed because another file (typically a 3rd party driver) has corrupted the memory space that ntoskrnl.exe considers as it's own.  When this happens, ntoskrnl.exe typically finds unknown data (from the 3rd party driver) in it's memory space.  When this happens, the OS panics and throws a BSOD to prevent damage to the system.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version P2.30) dates from 2015.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  This is just in case there has been a recent update (and is really only useful for W8 and later systems).

Only 3 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most build 10586 (TH2/1511) systems have more than this.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates.

The perfmon report, the WER section of the MSINFO32 report, and the BSOD's show some possible issues with your hard drive.

Please:

- run "CHKDSK /R /F" (without the quotes) from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt.  It'll ask if you want to do it when you reboot.  Answer Yes and then reboot and let it run.

- run one of these free hard drive diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

There's also some video issues in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report.

Please run these free diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Start with the video tests, but run all of the diagnostics.

Please uninstall the AsRock XFastLAN and XFastUSB (if installed) as they are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

It appears that you have both AVG and Avast installed (If you've already removed the Avast, please disregard this paragraph).
Please uninstall all but one antivirus (and all but one firewall).  Running more than one can cause conflicts, and can even let the viruses onto your system.

I appreciate all of your suggestions.

So yesterday before you had posted I swapped my ram with my brothers computer thinking the ram could be defective and to my surprise after installing my brothers ram my computer was working fine without any blue screens.  However my brother told me he wasn't getting any blue screens after installing my ram so I think the blue screens I was getting was just from the ram being loose, not defective.  I just put my original ram back in and so far so good.  About an hour passed without any blue screening.  I will confirm weather my computer is actually fixed or not by running the computer overnight and seeing if it blue screened while I was sleeping.  Even if my computer is fixed I will follow some of your recommendations as some of the reports do concern me a little.  Thank you for responding and for your service in the army;)

Not a problem.  Thanks for posting back!

If it was a RAM problem, you can run MemTest86+ and Prime95 to test the RAM (if needed).

They are tests that are listed in the link for hardware diagnostics that I posted previously - http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Glorio - please start your own topic so that your problem can get the individual assistance that it deserves.

In that topic, Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR, .7z or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.
