Hi,

 

I'm looking for a new laptop. I doubt about these 2

Toshiba Satellite P50-C-169

and

Asus R556LA

 

How I use my laptop?

Some browsing,

sometimes a movie,

mostly 1 or 2 vm for testing some stuff (Another OS, software, scripts, ...)

 

Pro Toshiba

Good specs

Max memory up to 16

Screen

 

Pro Asus

Also good specs but with a CPU from previous gen

Screen

Con

max memory 8gb

 

So what are your thoughts?

I've been thinking to buy the Toshiba but I'm hesitate

If you are going to virtualize I wouldn't get a laptop. What would your budget be?

my budget is approx 900 euros (around 950$). Personally I prefer a laptop because the flexibility
