This issue started less then a week ago. I am running a Lenovo G510 laptop with 8GB of Ram, I7-4700MQ CPU with an onboard HD4600 video card. The issue I have is that when I open programs they take a little longer then they should and most times when I go to move the programs position on the screen or close or mimize it I get a NOT RESPOND. This also happen when I have web pages open, I will attempt to go to another page and will get the same not responding issue just for a few seconds. I have run a full trend micro virus scan and it has come back clean. I have run a full PC pitstop test and the biggest issue is a slow 2D video card result. I ahev run the Lenovo Solution center and it says all hardware and software and running well and they pass all tests.

I am hoping someone will have some more tests for me to run and some idea's on what to try next.

Thanks

Ran speed fan for the first time and HDD temp stays steady between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius regardless of work load. Temp1 ranges from 44 resting to as high as 52 as does cores 0-3. When I put it under a larger work load it goes up to 52 and the CPU usage goes as high as 55%. With more then one program running even simple spins of a slot machine from a facebook game causes videos to run slower or get choppy and the game spins at a very slow rate. If only 1 thing is running videos are flawless.

did you update any of the drivers (or did windows do any auto updates) in the last couple weeks? Sometimes, the latest drivers dont always work that well-The first thing I would do is either start rolling back drivers to older versions, or do a system restore to a earlier point when everything was functioning properly. If your unsure of how to do this, please tell me what version of windows your using, and I can get you step by step directions. With windows 10, its in settings, update & security, recovery, and then choose go back to an earlier build. I suspect windows 8.1 is similar.
