Thank you for taking time to look at this for me. I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8.1, and never really noticed an issue, but would get random restarts. It was infrequent but still bothered me. I decided to reinstall windows 10, hoping a fresh install on a clean harddrive would help. I am still getting random BSODs and restarts. Its concerning because the restarts are similar to a power loss. The BSOD appears for a split second then the computer completely powers down before restarting. Otherwise the computer runs fine, always has. No problems at all before switching to windows 10.

I saw a similar thread about the restarts, which requested a file from event viewer so I included that as well as the 2 requested from the pinned topic

Errors in the Bing Weather app seem to precede the last 2 crashes.
Try uninstalling that app to see if it helps.

If you have any problems with it, post back for additional suggestions.

systeminfo.txt report is missing.

Please do this:

Please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "systeminfo.exe >%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt" (without the quotes) and press Enter.  Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the syteminfo.txt file.  If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.  Then zip up the .txt file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version 1603) dates from 2014.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

Noting else really stands out here.  Try running these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Start with the MemTest86+ and Prime95 tests - let us know the results and we'll move on from there.

If the BSOD's recur, please also run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
