Hello,
I would like to learn how to change the dedicated graphics memory. I clearly can, judging by this picture:
Attached File  5ycMO5O.png   18.18KB   1 downloads
However, I have BIOS version 7, which does not have the Advanced options to change this. BIOS version 7 looks like this (BIOS 6 and below offered methods to change this easily):
Attached File  imageServlet.png   126.49KB   1 downloads
Is there another way to change my graphics RAM or is that 3456 MB going to just uselessly sit there?

Specs that matter:

  • Windows 10
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 2 TB Storage
  • AMD A8-6500 APU 3.50 GHz Processor
  • AMD Radeon HD 8570D Graphics

Thanks for your help!

Judging from screenshots, GPU has 768MB reserved/dedicated memory and it CAN use upto 3456 MB more if necessary. So only 768MB memory is "uselessly sitting".

Do you know how I could change that?

There may be settings under advanced in the bios.

Perhaps you can adjust it in BIOS. In case that proves to be impossible, that should not be any issue. 768MB from 8GB is small fraction.
