Hi!

I own an Acer Aspire One D255. It is a netbook. It is not a very reliable machine based on its performance, so after doing some oogling and googling, I found several websites that recommended I disable certain services to improve the PC speed. After having done so, the operating system reported that it is not a genuine copy of windows 7 starter. That is impossible since i factory reset this machine about three times already. I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out exactly what services need to be toggled. I would seriously appreciate any help. Thank you.

The obvious:  either undo all changes made to services...or factory reset again...would be the obvious alternatives.

Any issue with Windows being genuine...needs to be addressed via Microsoft, if such continue.
