un explained shut downs

i would say probably 75-80% of the times i start up my computer (not wake it up) but pressing the on button it will turn on post then off sometimes before the the bios screen shows sometimes when its almost done pretty well random...so i press button again and everything is fine every time the second time is fine like nothing happened the computers will be on for hours used or not and its fine...but always (pretty well) it takes 2 button pushes no blue screen not error nothing

If this happens before the BIOS screen, have you tried updating the BIOS?

Have you run any diagnostics?  Here's some free one's:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
