I've been undergoing computer repairs recently and have been unable to fix this one problem where using any process requiring internet use the computer crashes with the error messages Driver_IRQL_not_less_or_equal(netio.sys) and

System_thread_exception_not_handled(netio.sys)

Now I'm not too sure how to post on this site so if there is any missing information please let me know, I've included the most recent .dmp file. Attached File  122415-23484-01.zip   136bytes   1 downloads

The dump file is 0 bytes in size.

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

Should you have problems with the perfmon report, please disregard it (I don't use it very much anyway).

Should the app lock up for more than 15 minutes while searching for Network information (it does this in my copy of W10), go ahead and kill the app.
Then navigate to the Documents folder and zip up the 18 reports in the SysnativeFileCollectionApp folder - then upload that with your next post.

If that doesn't work, then you can try this new app (from a friend of mine):  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location.
By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version FB) dates from 2013.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

No Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most build 10586 (TH2/1511) systems have more than this.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates.

There is an unknown USB device in Device Manager:

Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)    USB\VID_0000&PID_0002\5&3B21D752&0&3    This device is working properly.

In the past I have found that the "working properly" thing isn't accurate.
Please remove all USB devices from the system and see if that removes it.  Then plug them back in one-by-one until you find the offending device.

Then find drivers for it and install them (if you can't find them, let us know what the device is and we'll look for them).

The WER section of MSINFO32 suggests networking issues.  And I note that you have Zone Alarm installed.T

Try uninstalling Zone Alarm to see if that helps.

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.  This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

NOTE:  these symptoms were from the previous release of OverDrive.  The new release uses the same driver name, but is dated from 4 November 2013.

Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from http://www.amd.com (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLYhttp://www.sysnative.com/forums/showthread.php/668-ATI-video-cards-DRIVER-ONLY-installation-procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install".  Reboot for changes to take affect.

Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's.  If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

Beyond that, please:

- download a fresh copy of the latest, W10 compatible networking drivers (wired/wireless/bluetooth if so equipped)

- uninstall the current networking drivers

- install the freshly downloaded drivers

- monitor for further BSOD's

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

I've checked for windows updates, and found none, I've identified the motherboard model/maker (Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 (Rev:3.0)) and found the download link for a more recent BIOS here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4396#bios , and do not know how to procceed from here. Any help is much appreciated.

Click on the download link for the version that you want to use.
I'd suggest the FC version as the FDe is a beta version and may have bugs.

Once it's downloaded to your system, double click on it and follow the instructions.
At some point it'll want to reboot - let it.
When it's done, check in MSINFO32 to be sure that you have the latest version.

I've downloaded it, and it prompted me to extract it through 7-zip so I put it into a folder on the desktop and an application name "Efiflash" which windows 10 says can't run on my computer and asks me to check with the system manufacturer for a proper version. On the download website I downloaded the "America" link for the FC version.

Here's detailed flashing instructions:  http://www.gigabyte.com/webpage/20/HowToReflashBIOS.html

If still not able to flash, let's just hold off on it for now - and see if we can fix this without the update.

I have the BSOD continually for the past week or so and not certain what is causing this.  I have removed recently installed programs but the BSOD continues.  The error on the screen is; DRIVER_IRQL_NOR_LESS_OR_EQUAL (NETIO.SYS).  I am not sure where to go from here.  Following the posts here I am afraid to say most of you are light years ahead in computer knowledge than I am.  I have searched for the memory dump in Windows 10 but so far no luck.  I believe I have downloaded all of the updates for WINDOWS 10.  Any advice or assistance would be truly appreciated.

jeffreythomason1113 - please start your own topic so that your issues can get the individual attention that they deserve.
Also, in the new topic, please include this report:

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis:  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location. (By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop)
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.
