Came here via rather roundabout way. Was checking up on my Avast and found that it thought I should turn off fast user switching, something that it would probably do for me if I threw money at them. Well. That's no fun and besides, what the hell is fast user switching anyways?  Found out here. Sounds like something you should opt into not out of, but then, this IS Microsoft <sigh>. And the first thing I see in news is that MS is telling adware to not provide man-in-the-middle attack vectors. What the hell? They've simply been allowing it all this time?? But then, this IS Microsoft :smash:
